Hampton Inn Kirksville

Visited Kirksville for the first time and was worried about my stay, but this hotel ended up being a pleasant surprise. The room was clean upon arrival, and the staff was accommodating about my early check in time. I really enjoyed the free breakfast every morning and heated pool. My only tip would be that my suite bathroom had a sliding door as opposed to one that locked, there was also no bathroom fan. Other than that, I had a great stay! Great location, will most likely stay here again if I return.

We just rolled in from Alaska exhausted. It was so nice to get a good shower and sleep for a long time. I appreciate the cleanness of the room, quietness overall (my kids were probably the loudest ), and friendliness of the staff. Definitely recommend this hotel!

For a hotel in general, I give 4 stars. For the Hampton Inn brand, compared to others I've stayed at, I would give it 3 stars. Location is convenient, attached to the Walmart parking lot. Internet worked just fine. And front desk staff were friendly and remembered my name. The property maintenance as a whole is where it was lacking, however. Stayed here during the winter and the hallway was super hot. Thankfully my room was a decent temperature but I ran into someone at the gas station near the parking lot entrance who said there was a huge draft around their window, to the point that frost was forming. There were other little things that I felt could improve the property, and therefore improve my rating, but no need for me to list them all here. The week before I had stayed at the Holiday Inn on the other side of town which I felt was a much better experience.

The room was nice and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom could use some attention. The shower had mildew/mold along the bottom, the caulking was missing, and the small shelf was clearly broken and needed to be either removed and replaced or repaired. Staff was super friendly. The pool was closed by the time we checked in, so we didn't end up checking it out. Breakfast was good, and coffee was hot. Would stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Always Great Staff and A+ Breakfast like no other. The way this hotel makes Breakfast feel easy with something for everyone has my famlies and my days getting started off with a full stomach. Having a Hilton Honors account with what updates their app has makes me feel welcomed and appreciated everytime I see that message on the TV as I walk in the room for the first moments of my stay. I was not expecting to have to stay in a hotel/motel but as life goes I did. I was completely blown away by the night staff David and how helpful and willing to make my check in as easy as possible. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. It was so very clean and well kept. I would have thought I was going to be charged an enormous amount but was pleased at the price. Thank You Hampton Inn at Kirksville Mo and David for such a pleasant stay at an unpleasant time.

One of the best hotels in Kirksville! We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The breakfast was restocked regularly during the hours and was kept clean. My only critique.....no hot tub.
